While the Peacemaker is retrospective of the dive watches used by navy frogmen in the '40s, Gruppo Gamma has infused signature styling cues to make it stand out from the crowd.
The Peacemaker features a brushed CuSn8 bronze case. This is considered the best marine grade bronze available - being more resistant to all possible forms of corrosion. It has a large screw lock crown and is water resistant to 200 metres or 20 atmos. The back of the case consists of 316L stainless steel and a sapphire exhibition window caseback.
The scratch-resistant vintage style box-shaped sapphire crystal with underside anti-reflective coating helps to give this timepiece a real retro look. It protects the 2-tone gradient color sandwich dial with markers filled with vintage colour Swiss Super-LumiNova. The dial has gold colored hour and minute hands and a gold seconds hand, filled with vintage colour Swiss Super-LumiNova.
The stunning California dial which dates back to legendary dive watches of the 1930s and 40s has been implemented by way of a 'Semi-Cali' dial (comprising of Arabic numerals only). And consistent with Gruppo Gamma’s naval design undertones, the text on the dial is in military stencil typeface.
The Divemaster is powered by the tried and tested Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, which provides reliable and accurate timekeeping under the toughest circumstances.
A very comfortable premium Horween leather strap is supplied with the watch in addition to a travel pouch.
The solid case shape and distinct dial design with high level of finish gives the wearer of the watch a special feeling of quality retro and fine watchmaking.
